H500

H-500 (ca. 1974)

The Hondo H-500 was a copy of the hollowbody electric Norma EG-671 2HT, which was inspired by the Gibson Barney Kessel signature model.

Because these were the very first electric guitars built by Samick, they used Japanese hardware and electronics.
