KKT is a designation given to Samick's Licensed Floyd Rose tremolos.

All KKT tremolos were made in Korea by Jin Ah.

KKT/KKT-1[]

Within Samick's naming conventions, the KKT is designated by the letter "K". Later examples are stamped with "Mfg. Under Floyd Rose Patents" and earlier examples have no markings.

Within Vantage's naming conventions, the KKT-1 is designated by the letter "F".

Note: There are fairly common stories of the block on this tremolo breaking.

KKT1

Also known as the "Bennder" tremolo (Epiphone) and "Bendmaster" (Westone).

KKT-2[]

Within Samick's (and Vantage's) naming conventions, the KKT-2 is designated by the letter "J".

  • Two Allen key wrenches, mounted on back of headstock

Improvements to plate, arm, saddles and block over KKT-2.

Within Samick's naming conventions, the KKT-3 is designated by the letter "R".

Within Vantage's naming conventions, the KKT-3 is designated by the letter "D".
